Alex Hayward

Alex joins Regiis as an experienced Director and Manager within the Commercial Department of both traditional and contractual housebuilders, with over 20 years of industry expertise. Alex’s career highlights include over 10 years at Taylor Wimpey and 6 years at the now Chartway Partnerships Group, also gaining experience at Persimmon, Bellway Homes & Thakeham.

Having progressed through every stage of Commercial Management—from Trainee Quantity Surveyor to Commercial Director—Alex has developed a comprehensive understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration along with an equally keen eye for the construction process. His approach is driven by continuous improvement, maintaining excellent relationships, always seeking innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and drive success.
